Funniest thing to ever happen to you at school: I still have kids in
school
and I don't want to give anybody any ideas but we were very creative.
Hobbies: hunting and any other sport, reading, anything my kids are
involved
in.
Why do you like working in education? Because children are our future
leaders and in education, you get to make future generations even better.
How long have you worked in education? I worked as a teacher's aid in
the
science dept. at ASU but I am in my 9th year on the school board.
Who was your favorite teacher and why? I had several but since I can
only
name one....Mrs. Bohannon because she helped me believe in myself more than
I would have and she kept up with me through out school and even afterwards.
If we are allowed to teach in heaven, I am sure she is teaching the angels
something special right now.
Graduation is always a special moment for me. It makes me think about the
past and the future. When my dad (Donnie Reid) graduated from Coahoma High
School, his dad (Clay Reid) was on the school board and gave him his diploma.
When I graduated from Coahoma, my dad gave me my diploma. And some day,
when my children graduate, I will get the opportunity to give them their
diplomas.
