They were small, red and full of energy.  They were the Coahoma Big Red Band! From playing in the stands to marching during half-time the band always gave it all they had.  With their twirlers, flags, percussion, drum major, and the rest of the members, the band always pulled together to put on a memorable halftime show.   The marching contests were held in Abilene in the Shotwell Stadium. The band rated a 2 which means excellent.  "The Band did really well, I was happy with them especially being one of the smaller ones."
