The Big Red Band had a great 2002 year!  At UIL marching contest, the band received a division two.  At UIL contest and sight-reading, the band received a division one in both categories.  The band preformed in many concerts year round, such as the banquet for the Big Spring Chamber of Commerce.  Austin Barton and Nolan Paige both received division ones on their solo and ensembles sending them to compete at state.
