Sue Neff coached tennis in 1987. The team included Karen McCoy, Soncia Scott, JAncy Cunningham, Vickie Moore, Candy Joiner Patrick Salazar, Douglas Lawhon, Kerry Lowery, Cesar Gellido, Deefon Douglas, and Terry McMahon. Candy  Joiner and Vikki Moore took third place at district in girls doubles. Coach Neff said, "It was a tough year. Weather plagued us at almost every tournament. We did good this year."
