2002 was the last year that Coach Chaves coached here. It was an awesome season. The boys won district! Sam Tindol won the singles competition and advanced to regional. The tennis team that year included  Garret Cornett, Casi Thompson, Dust Higgins, Monty Rowden, Alex Toscano, Nolan Paige, Kimberly Baugus, Lauren Yeater, Josh Brown, Sarah Overton, Chelsea Griffin, Sam Tindol, Eddie Gonzales, Toby Jackson, and Clint Walker.
